Finerva

Everyday finances, brought into focus. Accounts, expenses, plans, and shared costs in one considered mobile experience.

Finerva: real application screens

Everyday money. A clearer picture.

Accounts, expenses, plans and shared costs in one considered mobile experience. Clear on the surface. Precise underneath.

The challenge

Money is personal. The product needs to make complex information understandable while treating accuracy and privacy as part of the experience.

Built around
Exact money. Clear boundaries.

The daily details. The bigger picture.

Keep the everyday clear

Accounts, categories and recent activity connect the simple act of recording an expense to the rest of your finances.

Accounts · Transactions · Categories

See where it goes

Reports bring spending and income together across periods and currencies, making the patterns easier to read.

Reports · Periods · Currency-aware summaries

Share with intention

Groups keep expenses, splits and settlements together while personal accounts remain a separate part of the product.

Shared expenses · Split rules · Settlements

Clarity starts with the ledger.

One mobile foundation

React Native · Expo · TypeScript

Accounts, activity, reports and planning share a mobile foundation. Native navigation, haptics and platform integrations support the everyday experience, while financial rules stay separate from presentation.

Money without rounding surprises

BigInt · PostgreSQL NUMERIC

Money travels as integer minor-unit strings paired with a currency. Integer and decimal arithmetic preserve exact amounts through transactions, transfers and reporting instead of relying on floating-point calculations.

An encrypted local ledger

SQLCipher · SQLite · React Query

An encrypted on-device database holds the working ledger. A serialized writer applies related changes together; local projections power the interface while query caching coordinates reads.

Synchronization with explicit boundaries

NestJS · PostgreSQL · Kysely

Versioned outbox mutations and an incremental change feed connect device and API. Owner-scoped requests, retries and explicit conflict handling keep delayed responses from crossing account boundaries.

Shared expenses, separate finances

TypeScript · Shared split engine

A shared domain package computes expense allocations across clients and server. Membership checks and private account mappings separate the group's costs and settlements from each person's own ledger.

Exact amounts, from the device to the financial API.

From daily details. To a complete product.

We brought Finerva's product design, mobile experience and financial backend together, including shared expenses, synchronization and release preparation. It's the kind of connected product work we can bring to your idea.
