Remnesa

A calmer place to learn. Personal flashcards, thoughtful review sessions, and the freedom to study wherever life takes you—even offline. We also prepared the store assets, fully set up both store listings and released the iOS and Android apps ourselves.

Remnesa: real application screens

A little practice. A lasting memory.

A personal place to learn. Flashcards, focused review and the freedom to study wherever life takes you.

The challenge

Learning tools can become another thing to manage. Remnesa brings the focus back to a simple question: what would you like to remember?

Built around
Offline use. Personal ownership.

A few small steps. A practice of your own.

Make it yours

Keep your own decks together. Build with text, images and audio, or bring in material you already have.

Personal decks · Rich media · Import & export

Find your rhythm

A focused review session, with spaced repetition helping decide what comes next. The interface makes room for the thought, not just the tap.

Spaced repetition · Focused sessions · Thoughtful feedback

Take it with you

Your material stays on the device. Open the app and study without signing in. An account adds sync when you want it.

On-device storage · Guest experience · Optional sync

Offline is the starting point.

One product across mobile

React Native · Expo · TypeScript

Study, deck editing and rich media share one application foundation. Platform integrations handle files, audio, haptics and navigation, while domain logic stays separate from the interface.

A database that travels with you

SQLite · React Query

The device is the working source of truth. Schema migrations, foreign keys and exclusive write transactions protect the local model; React Query coordinates reads and cache invalidation. Guests can use the product without an API.

Review with a memory

FSRS · Persisted review events

The scheduler tracks each card’s difficulty, stability and due date. Again, Hard, Good and Easy produce the next review state locally, while a review-event history supports replay of the learning state.

Connectivity without dependency

NestJS · PostgreSQL · Kysely

Optional accounts add synchronization through a separately deployable API. Local outboxes queue changes; versioned mutations, retry checks and explicit conflict responses handle the boundary between device and server.

Material people can keep

Local media · Versioned backups · Anki import

Images and audio live alongside study material. Structured backups preserve decks, notes, review data and media references. Import pipelines bring in Anki packages and text material without making the study core depend on cloud storage.

A local-first product, with a connected option.

From the first build. To the app stores.

We designed and built Remnesa, prepared its store assets, fully set up its App Store and Google Play listings, and released both apps ourselves. We can take your product all the way to launch, too.
